Intensive Behavioural Intervention (IBI)
Intensive Behavioral Intervention (IBI) is a specialized approach to education and behavior management. It was developed mainly for young children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). It can also be used to improve different social behavioral issues such as personality disorder, relationship counselling, obsessive-compulsive disorder, or other issues. It is an intensive treatment which is delivered through one-on-one instruction. It is designed to improve key learning skills in the areas of cognitive, language, and social development. Each child will receive constant measurement regarding their performance and progress to ensure their customized plan is up to date. IBI is concluded as a key factor that contributes the success of the treatment due to many factors, such as consistency of treatment, intensive supervision, and parental expertise.
